Abstract

Un método para convertir un pozo terminado en un pozo terminado doble que incluye bombear selectivamente un fluido a base de agua en una primera zona de producción del pozo terminado, en donde el fluido a base de agua tiene un pH mayor que aproximadamente 5; permitir al fluido a base de aguar formar un gel a base de agua no fluyente del pozo terminado, en donde el gel a base de agua tiene un pH mayor que aproximadamente 5; disponer una capa de cemento en el pozo terminado encima del gel a base de agua; perforar una segunda zona de producción del pozo terminado en una ubicación encima de la capa de cemento; barrenar a través de la capa de cemento; y romper el gel a base de agua ubicado en la primera zona de producción del pozo terminado, en donde la ruptura comprende: exponer el gel a base de agua a un fluido de ruptura, en donde se describe el fluido de ruptura que tiene un pH mayor que aproximadamente 5.
