Abstract
Un sistema para estabilidad lateral mejorada de una aeronave anfibia incluye un sistema de flotación lateralmente desplazado desde lados opuestos del fuselaje de la aeronave y el sistema de punta del ala que tiene una superficie de planeo hidrodinámico asociada con cada punta del ala. La superficie de planeo hidrodinámico sobre cada punta del ala previene la inmersión de una estructura de flotación asociada. Este ancho lateral reducido permite que la aeronave anfibia se configure para almacenamiento y transportación sobre un remolque o un contenedor de transporte.
