Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para transformar un formato de vídeo 3D de un vídeo 3D, el método incluye recibir una secuencia de vídeo que comprende vídeo 3D que incluye vídeo desde el punto de visión izquierdo y el vídeo desde el punto de visión derecho, estimar al menos una de la información de disparidad entre el vídeo desde el punto de visión izquierdo y el vídeo desde el punto de visión derecho, e información de correlación entre valores de píxeles cercanos del vídeo desde el punto de visión izquierdo y el vídeo desde el punto de visión derecho, y determinar un formato de vídeo 3D del vídeo 3D con base en el resultado de estimación; transformar el vídeo desde el punto de visión izquierdo y el vídeo desde el punto de visión derecho en un formato, con base en el formato de vídeo 3D determinado; y visualizar tridimensionalmente el vídeo desde el punto de visión izquierdo transformado y el vídeo desde el punto de visión derecho transformado en el dispositivo de visualización.
