Abstract
Un sensor para medir nivel de fluido es provisto que incluye un flotador, el cual puede ser de acero u otro material que afecta el flujo magnético. El sensor además incluye un alojamiento que define una cavidad configurada para recibir al flotador. El alojamiento puede ser, pero no necesita ser, tubular, y la cavidad puede ser cilíndrica. Por lo menos una espira magnética es enrollada al alojamiento a lo largo de la cavidad. La espira puede enrollarse alrededor del alojamiento. El flotador se puede posicionar en el fluido para moverse dentro de la cavidad en relación al nivel de fluido.
