Abstract
Se proporciona un instrumento para determinar propiedades de fluido; el instrumento (300) incluye un tubo (304) que recibe el fluido, un imán sencillo (302) unido al tubo, y una bobina sencilla (306) devanada alrededor del imán sencillo; la bobina sencilla está acoplada a una fuente de corriente de impulsos (312) y recibe una corriente de impulsos que crea un campo magnético en la bobina sencilla, el campo magnético creado interactuando con el imán sencillo para impulsar el tubo a que vibre; el instrumento además incluye un detector (306) acoplado al tubo, el detector está acoplado a circuitería de medición (310) y detecta propiedades del tubo a medida que éste vibra, y los circuitos de medición determinan las propiedades de fluido con base en las propiedades detectadas, el instrumento también incluye una carcasa (314) encerrando el tubo, el imán sencillo, y la bobina sencilla devanada alrededor del imán sencillo.
