Abstract
Procedimiento de preparación de bebidas a base del fruto de aguama (Bromelia pinguin) que resultan ser agradables al gusto y proporcionan propiedades funcionales asociadas a la prevención de enfermedades como gripe, tosferina, parásitos, etc., entre otras. El fruto de aguama tiene un contenido de vitamina C y de compuestos fenólicos cercanos al contenido del fruto de la guayaba. Las plantas de aguama crecen de manera silvestre y los frutos se dan en racimos, los cuales son procesados para la extracción de jarabes para bebidas.
