Abstract

Un dispositivo medidor inteligente para conectar una red del múltiple de usuarios finales con una red de distribución de energía de múltiples fases y monitorear el consumo en la red del múltiple de usuarios finales, el cual comprende: entradas para conectar el dispositivo medidor inteligente con múltiples fases de la red de distribución de energía de múltiples fases; salidas únicas de fase de bajo voltaje para conectar la red del múltiple de usuarios finales con el dispositivo medidor inteligente; un circuito de energía entre las entradas y las salidas de bajo voltaje; un módem para recibir mensajes de control enviados desde el servidor de comunicaciones asociado con la red de distribución de energía; un controlador conectado de forma comunicativa con el módem para controlar las operaciones de conmutación en el dispositivo medidor inteligente, como respuesta a los mensajes de control; y un selector de fase acoplado de forma comunicativa con el controlador y que comprende conmutadores de entrada para conmutar las salidas de bajo voltaje entre diferentes series de entradas, cada una correspondiente a una de las múltiples fases de la red de distribución de energía de múltiples fases.
