Abstract
Métodos, aparatos y sistemas para medir en una base por clase QoS, el número promedio de dispositivos de usuario activos en el enlace ascendente de un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica se describen. En el método ejemplar, un número de terminales móviles con datos guardados en memoria intermedia para transmisión a una estación base se estima basándose en informes de estado de memoria intermedia recibidos. Una cantidad estimada de terminales móviles activas se calcula, basándose en los informes de estado de memoria intermedia recibidos y un número de terminales móviles para los cuales se ha asignado una concesión de programación semipersistente.
