Abstract
Aparato y método son provistos para calentamiento de inducción de uno o más componentes de una pieza de trabajo moldeada compleja; el componente es colocado dentro de una abertura formada por pares opuestos de estructuras de bobina arqueadas formadas en segmentos de inductor opuestos; un segmento de inductor es formado a partir de segmentos de inductor activo interior y exterior aislados eléctricamente conectados a una o más fuentes de energía mientras el otro segmento de inductor es formado de segmentos de inductor pasivo interior y exterior aislados eléctricamente que son acoplados magnéticamente con segmentos de inductor activo interior y exterior respectivos; cambiando los parámetros eléctricos de salida de una o más fuentes de energía controla el temple de inducción a lo largo de la anchura transversal de la pieza de trabajo con concentradores de flujo opcionales entre pares opuestos de estructuras de bobina arqueadas.
