Abstract

Un método para inhibir una respuesta de etileno en un cultivo, que comprende la etapa de aplicar al menos una porción de al menos una planta de dicho cultivo en una cantidad de una solución de una sal de ácido ciclopropil-1-enil-propanóico soluble en agua (WS-CPD, fórmula I) efectiva para producir la inhibición de una respuesta de etileno en al menos una planta, en donde M se elige del grupo que consiste de Na, Li, K, y 1/2 Ca.
