Abstract

Se proporciona una nueva serie de análogos sintéticos de hGH-RH(1-29)NH2 (SEQ ID NO: 96) y hGH-RH(1-30)NH2. De interés particular son aquellos que tienen PhAc, N-Me-Aib, Dca, Ac-Ada, Fer, Ac-Amc, Me-NH-Sub, PhAc-Ada, AcAda-D-Phe, Ac-Ada-Phe, Dca-Ada, Dca-Amc, Nac-Ada, Ada-Ada, o CH3-(CH2)10-CO-Ada, en el N-término y ß-Ala, Amc, Apa, Ada, AE2A, AE4P, e-Lys(a-NH2), Agm, Lys(Oct) o Ahx, en el C-término. Estos análogos inhiben la liberación de hormona de crecimiento de la pituitaria en mamíferos así como inhiben la proliferación de cánceres humanos a través de un efecto directo en las células de cáncer. Las potencias inhibitorias más fuertes de los nuevos análogos, en comparación a los descritos anteriormente, resultan del reemplazo de varios aminoácidos.
