Abstract

Un método y aparato para medir la capacidad de depósito de contaminantes en partículas en una corriente de fluido de pulpa o papel molido y evalúa las interacciones de dichos contaminantes en partículas con otros contaminantes recopila los contaminantes en partículas en un sustrato adecuado, tal como una película de plástico revestida con un adhesivo o revestida con contaminante orgánico, que se pone en contacto con la corriente de fluido de pulpa o papel molido durante por lo menos cinco minutos hasta varias horas. La cantidad de contaminantes recuperada en el sustrato se cuantifica y evalúa tomando una o más imágenes escaneadas del sustrato con una resolución de por lo menos 2,000 puntos por pulgada (DPI) y analizando las imágenes escaneadas con técnica de análisis de imagen.
