Se utiliza un primer protocolo entre el dispositivo de servidor y el dispositivo de cliente y un segundo protocolo se utiliza entre el dispositivo de servidor y el dispositivo de transmisi?n ?ptica, en donde el primer protocolo y el segundo protocolo son diferentes entre s?. El dispositivo de servidor incluye una unidad de conversi?n que lleva a cabo una conversi?n mutua entre el primer protocolo y el segundo protocolo.
