Abstract

Se describe la simulación de fractura de depósito que se refiere a un método para evaluar un depósito. Se recopilan los datos asociados con las propiedades del depósito así como las propiedades de una fractura en el depósito. Estos datos después se utilizan junto con una matriz de correlación para determinar los parámetros de modificación de un modelo de depósito. La matriz de correlación corresponde a una relación funcional empírica entre los parámetros de modificación y los datos, y se obtiene con base en una pluralidad de fracturas experimentales definidas en el depósito. Los efectos de la fractura son emulados después a elección modificando el modelo del depósito utilizando los parámetros de modificación para generar un modelo del depósito modificado. El depósito se modela entonces con la fractura utilizando el modelo del depósito modificado para generar un resultado.
