Abstract
La presente invención se refiere al análisis funcional de genes, frecuentemente que requiere la manipulación de regiones genómicas grandes. Se describe un vector de lanzadera de levadura-bacteria que se puede usar para clonar grandes regiones de ADN por recombinación homóloga. También se describe un método para aislar genomas completos, que incluye genomas de cloroplastos o porciones grandes del mismo, y manipulación del mismo. También descritos están métodos para determinar los genomas mínimos requerimientos de trayectoria mínima y genomas de organelo mínimos.
