Abstract

La presente invención propone un método para programación de recursos en una red de paquetes y un elemento de red para intercambiar señales con equipos de usuario, en donde los equipos de usuario se comunican entre sí usando el recurso asignado por un elemento de red, tal comunicación comprende periodos de impulsos de datos de voz durante los cuales los paquetes de datos son transmitidos y periodos de silencio durante los cuales son transmitidos paquetes de descriptores de silencios, el método para programar recursos comprende: el elemento de red asigna recursos para los equipos de usuario para la comunicación; tanto el equipo de usuario como el elemento de red detectan la presencia del paquete de descriptor de silencio, y el elemento de red determina el número optimizado de unidades de recursos para que sean asignadas al equipo de usuario durante el intervalo para transmitir el paquete de datos, con base en la velocidad de codificación del equipo de usuario, el esquema de codificación de modulación seleccionado y los tiempos de transmisión válidos; el elemento de red inicia un cronometraje y el equipo de usuario deja de utilizar el recurso asignado si detecta un paquete de descriptor de silencio; cuando finaliza el cronometraje o se recibe una solicitud para asignar recursos desde el equipo de usuario antes de finalizar el cronometraje, el elemento de red asigna el número optimizado determinado de unidades de recursos al equipo de usuario, y el equipo de usuario comienza a usar el número optimizado determinado de unidades de recursos; el elemento de red determina el fin del intervalo para la transmisión del paquete de datos al detectar el paquete de descriptor de silencio; y cuando el equipo de usuario y el elemento de red detectan un paquete de descriptor de silencio, el equipo de usuario deja de usar el número optimizado determinado de unidades de recursos, mientras el elemento de red libera el número optimizado determinado de unidades de recursos.
