Abstract

Una tapa de plástico internamente roscada de conformidad con la presente invención incluye una disposición de canales internos circunferencialmente espaciados, que se extienden axialmente, que intersectan la formación de rosca interna de la tapa. Mediante la presente construcción, puede reducirse deseablemente la cantidad de material polimérico del cual se forma la tapa, mientras mantiene las características dimensionales deseadas de la tapa, para facilitar el uso con los contenedores existentes y el equipo de tapas de alta velocidad.
