Abstract

La presente invención hace referencia a una bomba de combustible para el transporte de combustible en un automóvil con una etapa de canalización lateral (9). La bomba de combustible presenta además una etapa periférica (10). En comparación con la etapa de canalización lateral (9), la etapa periférica (10) produce la misma presión a lo largo del rotor (4) con un caudal menor. Para ello, las secciones transversales de las cámaras de transporte (18) de la etapa periférica (10) son menores que las secciones transversales de las cámaras de transporte (17) de la etapa de canalización lateral (9). De esta manera, la bomba de combustible presenta un mayor rendimiento y no es susceptible a la suciedad.
