Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un método de revestimiento para sellar una fuga (2) en un entubado (3), una tubería, un barreno, o el fondo de perforación de un pozo usando un forro (1) que tiene un tubo (4) con un primer diámetro, una pluralidad de ranuras circunferenciales (5), y una pluralidad de medios de sellado (6) en las ranuras que se extienden más allá del primer diámetro. El método de revestimiento comprende las etapas de fijar el forro en un medio de fijación (9) de una herramienta de expansión, insertar el forro que tiene una primera parte (8) y una segunda parte (10) dentro del entubado (3) fuera de la fuga (2), colocar un medio de expansión de la herramienta de expansión en la primera parte del forro, expandir la primera parte del forro hasta que el medio de sellado en las ranuras de la primera parte del forro se presionen contra el entubado y fijen la primera parte al entubado, liberar el forro de tal manera que el forro se libere de la herramienta y el forro sea mantenido en su lugar mediante los medios de sellado en la primera parte del forro, y expandir completamente todo el forro expandiendo también la segunda parte del forro para que esté en contacto con el entubado para sellar la fuga.
