Abstract

Se proporciona un método para producir combustible de gas natural a partir de lechos de hidrato de gas en donde 1) un motor de turbina de gas se opera produciendo de esta manera energía y escape de calor, o ji) el gas natural se oxida en una celda de combustible que produce electricidad y calor. Por lo menos una porción de calor se transfiere al agua y el agua calentada se hace pasar en el fondo del pozo y se lleva en contacto térmico con un lecho de hidrato. El hidrato se disasocia produciendo de esta manera gas de hidrato. Una cantidad suficiente de combustible luego se hace pasar al motor o a la celda de combustible para la operación.
