Abstract

Un aparato para generar de manera repetible arcos eléctricos para probar un dispositivo interruptor eléctrico, tal como un interruptor de circuito de fallas de arco, incluye un electrodo estacionario y un electrodo movible que se mueve a lo largo de una trayectoria de desplazamiento por un dispositivo electromecánico bajo el control de un controlador que recibe datos a partir de ya sea un dispositivo de medición de corriente o un dispositivo de medición de voltaje para detectar el inicio de un arco.
