Abstract
Un servidor de Llamada en una red es capaz de supervisar un régimen ofrecido de llamadas entrantes por Puerta de Acceso (AGW). Un Régimen de fuga Global calculado se puede distribuir entre las AGWs en proporción con el régimen de tráfico que ofrecen. Un método de cálculo de régimen de fuga se usa para calcular el parámetro de control de Régimen de fuga Global del restrictor ATSI_NR a un Servidor de Control sobrecargado. El cálculo de régimen de fuga se basa en el régimen de rechazo de llamada de POTS. En una modalidad particular de la presente invención, el cálculo está basado en llevar el régimen de rechazo de llamada cercando a un nivel de rechazo de meta bajo configurable. Un MGC es capaz de identificar el final de un evento de sobrecarga con un mayor grado de seguridad y un AGW es capaz de responder apropiadamente si el AGW se instruye prematuramente para detener el control.
