Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a un método para fabricar vidrio. En ciertas modalidades ejemplares, una(s) superficie(s) principal(es) del vidrio se trata(n) con cloruro de aluminio (por ejemplo, AlCl3) en o justo antes del túnel de recocido. El tratamiento con cloruro de aluminio en o justo antes del túnel de recocido, en un proceso de fabricación de vidrio ya sea de flotación o de línea de impresión, es ventajoso ya que permite que el tratamiento se realice a una temperatura deseable del vidrio y permite que el orificio de escape funcione en o próximo al túnel de recocido para retirar los subproductos del tratamiento de una manera eficiente.
