Abstract
Se proporcionan composiciones y métodos para regular la expresión de las secuencias de nucleótido de interés en una planta. Las composiciones incluyen novedosas moléculas de ácido nucleico y variantes y fragmentos de las mismas, para los elementos de control de expresión aislados de los genes de la ubiquitia de Lemnaceae, la r-histona y la quinatasa. Se proporciona además un método para expresar una secuencia de nucleótido de interés en una planta usando los elementos de control de expresión divulgados en el presente documento. También se proporciona una novedosa secuencia de codificación del péptido de señal de Lemnaceae y la señal de péptido codificada mediante la misma. Cuando una construcción de expresión de la invención está diseñada para expresar un polipéptido de interés, esta novedosa secuencia de codificación del péptido de señal puede ser incluida dentro de la construcción de expresión de la invención para proporcionar una secreción extracelular del polipéptido codificado de interés.
