Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para controlar un desacelerador electromagnético que incluye un generador de corriente en el que una corriente de excitación es inyectada; el método consiste en determinar una intensidad máxima admisible (lm) de la corriente de excitación por inyectar hacia los devanados primarios estatóricos del desacelerador, que incluye una flecha que da soporte a los devanados secundarios y a los devanados inductores alimentados por estos devanados secundarios, y los devanados primarios junto con los devanados secundarios constituyen el generador; el desacelerador cuenta con una camisa dentro de la cual los devanados inductores generan unas corrientes de Foucault, y un circuito de enfriamiento líquido de esta camisa; el método consiste en determinar la intensidad máxima admisible en tiempo real de manera que se alcanza una temperatura crítica de la camisa cilíndrica, así como en determinar esta temperatura crítica tomando en cuenta un valor de temperatura del líquido de enfriamiento; la invención se aplica a los desaceleradores destinados a equipar los vehículos pesados, tales como los vehículos de carga.
