Abstract
Un receptor el cual incluye al menos un filtro igualador y un generador de coeficientes de derivacion para implementar diversidad de recepcion. El filtro igualador posee una senal derivada de senales recibidas por una pluralidad de antenas. En una modalidad, los flujos de datos muestra de las antenas son fusionados en un flujo de datos de muestra. El flujo de datos de muestra fusionado es procesado por un solo filtro igualador extendido, por lo que los coeficientes del filtro son ajustados de acuerdo con una senal de error de union. Un termino de correccion del coeficiente del filtro por el filtro igualador es generado por el generador de coeficientes de derivacion usando un algoritmo de minimos cuadrados normalizado (NLMS). En otra modalidad, se utiliza una pluralidad de filtros igualadores, por lo que cada igualador recibe un flujo de datos de muestra de una de las antenas especificas. En otra modalidad mas, los flujos de datos de muestra son combinados despues de ser procesados por una pluralidad de filtros separados sobre la base de respuestas de impulso de canal estimadas, respectivas.
