Abstract

El laser emite energia dirigida hacia el sustrato y la herramienta. El sustrato absorbe la energia laser y produce energia termica dentro del sustrato que altera el sustrato. La herramienta se dispone en contacto removible con el sustrato para conducir la energia termica lejos del sustrato para limitar la alteracion del sustrato. De preferencia, la herramienta tiene un conductividad termica mayor que la del sustrato y de mayor preferencia es un material de cobre, un material de oro; un material de plata o un material de aluminio.
