Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un material de lámina quirúrgico sensible a la presión, caracterizado porque comprende un sustrato plegable, delgado, revestido sobre por lo menos una de sus superficies, con una composición adhesiva sensible a la presión que tiene la capacidad para absorber de aproximadamente 15 a aproximadamente 40 por ciento de su propio peso en agua, y que comprende (a) de aproximadanente 30 a aproximadamente 80 partes en peso de un componente adhesivo sensible a la presión seleccionado del grupo que consiste de hule natural, hule de silicón, hule de acrilonitrilo, hule de poliuretano, polímeros de poliisobutileno y acrílicos; (b) de aproximadamente 30 a aproximadamente 80 partes en peso de un componente de absorción de humedad seleccionado del grupo que consiste de goma karaya, goma de algarrobo, acrilatos de sodio, alcohol polivinílico, pectina pulverizada, gelatina, carboximetilcelulosa, carbowax de alto peso molecular y carboxipolimetileno; y (c) de aproximadamente 2 por ciento a aproximadamente 20 por ciento en peso, con base en el peso total de dicha composición adhesiva, de sílice.
