Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo para separar el aceite de un gas que comprende un alojamiento con eje vertical cilíndrico que forma una pared periférica de dicho dispositivo, un casquete de extremo superior, un casquete de extremo inferior, una entrada paralela a dicho eje de dicho alojamiento cilíndrico que se extiende a través de dicho casquete de extremo superior; una salida para gas formada por una pared cilíndrica que forma un pasaje central que está en alineación con dicho eje; una pared helicoidal formada dentro de dicho alojamiento cilíndrico entre dicha paed periférica y dicha pared cilíndrica, un deflector cónico que tiene una pared inclinada hacia abajo y hacia el exterior, espaciada abajo de la pared helicoidal, una pluralidad de aberturas que se extienden a través de una área de reborde exterior de dicho deflector adyacente a dicha pared periférica una zona de recolección de aceite abajo de dicho deflector, y una salida de aceite en dicha zona de recolección de aceite que se extiende a través de dicho casquete de extremo inferior controlado por una válvula.
