Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a composición para inhibir la corrosión en aguas de enfriamiento industrial, que contiene dureza y que tienen un pH de cuando menos 8, caracterizada porque comprende: I. un fosfonato orgánico soluble en agua capaz de inhibir la corrosión en un ambiente alcalino acuoso, y II. un polimero al azar, soluble en agua, no entrelazado, que costa de 50 a 90 partes en peso de un ácido acrílico y de 10 a 50 partes en peso de una acrilamida substituida, en base a un total de 100 partes en peso de los monomeros polimerizados; dicho polimero tiene un peso molecular ponderado promedio en el rango de alrededor de 1,000 a 50,000 y las unidades polimerizadas de un ácido acríico y de una acrilamida substituida se definen por la siguiente fórmula en donde m está en el rango de alrededor de 10 a 700 y n está en el rango de alrededor de 0.1 a 350, sujeto a las limitaciones de peso molecular; R y R1 se selecciona individualmente de entre hidrógeno y metilo; X se selecciona de entre restos hidrógeno, sodio, potasio, calcio, amonio y magnesio; y R2 y R3 se seleccionan individualmente de entre hidrógeno y grupos substituidos e insubstituidos que contiene cada uno un total de 1 a 8 átomos de carbono, en donde los substituyentes de R2 y/o R3 se seleccionan de entre grupos alquilo, arilo y ceto, con la condición de que ya sea R2 y/o R3 sea diferente de hidrógeno; con un proporción en peso de polímero:fosfonato dentro del rango de .2/1 a 2/1.
