Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una cáscara de psyllium aglomerada caracterizada porque comprende : (a) de 25 por ciento a 99 por ciento de cáscara de psyllium; (b) de 0.5 por ciento a 20 por ciento del revestimiento del material de aglomeración de dicha cáscara de psyllium; y (c) de 0.5 por ciento a 20 por ciento de ácido comestible uniformente dispersado a lo largo del revestimiento del material de aglomeración de la cáscara de psyllium, y en donde además la cáscara de psyllium aglomerada comprende menos de un 20 por ciento de azúcar.
