Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un medidor mejorado del flujo de masas, para materiales fluibles, donde el régimen del flujo de masa se determina con base en al menos un efecto medido de las fuerzas de coriolis, que comprende un soporte, al menos un conducto curvado, continuo, de flujo, el cual está exento de juntas o secciones sensibles a la presión y se monta sólidamente en el soporte en sus extremos de entrada y de salida, un elemento de impulso para oscilar el conducto, elementos sensores que comprenden una pareja de sensores en cada uno de los conductos, para vigilar el movimiento del conducto, en tanto materiales fluibles fluyen a través de los mismos bajo condiciones de oscilación y generan y transmiten señales relacionadas con este movimiento, y un elemento procesador de señales, que detectan las señales y las convierten en valores del régimen de flujo de masas; en donde la mejora comprende colocar los sensores en una ubicación determinada por el análisis modal, para adaptarse mejor en reducir al mínimo la pérdida de la estabilidad del medidor debida a la excitación de uno o más del primer modo de flexión en fase, el primer modo de flexión fuera de fase, el primer modo de torcido fuera de fase, el segundo modo de torcido fuera de fase, el segundo modo de flexión fuera de fase y el tercer modo de flexión fuera de fase.
