Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una construcción de mesa, caracterizado porque comprende: (a) una cubierta generalmente plana; (b) un ensamble de guarnición conectado a la cubierta, que comprende: (i) por lo menos tres miembros angulares alargados, cada uno de los cuales tiene una base y una pared que se extiende generalmente perpendicular conectada a la base, teniendo la pared porciones extremas que terminan en una porción de borde inferior curvo; y (ii) por lo menos tres miembros de esquina de una sola pieza, moldeados por inyección, conectados a la cubierta plana; cada uno tiene una pared superior, una pared inferior separada, paredes laterales externas que interconectan las paredes superior e inferior, las paredes externas están provistas de al menos dos ranuras que se extienden verticalmente, adaptadas para recibir apretadamente las porciones extremas de las paredes de los miembros de ángulo alargados, las paredes laterales internas separadas de las paredes externas, y medios reforzadores conectados a las paredes internas para reforzar estructuralmente las paredes internas, y (c) ensambles de pata interconectados con el ensamble de guarnición para soportar la cubierta en un plano elevado, generalmente horizontal, la porción de borde inferior de la pared de los miembros de ángulo siendo generalmente de sección transversal circular, y las ranuras que se extienden verticalmente formadas en las paredes externas, estando formadas para recibir estrechamente los miembros de ángulo.
