Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la preparación de un compuesto aglomerado de celulosa, que tiene una capacidad mejorada de adsorbencia o enlace para macromoleculas cargadas de un compuesto celulósico, aglomerado, polimerico, hidrofóbico, granular, no utilizado antriormente, con propiedades de intercambio de iones; caracterizado porque comprende tratar este compuesto con un medio acuoso, a una temperatura cuando menos de unos 60 grados C y por un tiempo suficiente para su capacidad en aumentar la habilidad de adsorción o de enlace por al menos de un 30 por ciento paa estas macromoleculas. Un compuesto granular, no empleado previamente, a baqse de DEAE-celulosa, caracterizado porque comrpende: gránulos, formados por la aglomeración de la celulosa con el polímero hidrofóbico; estos gránulos se han derivado con el dietil-aminoetilo (DEAE) a una relación del agente DEAE a la celulosa mayor de 0.7 para impartir propiedades de intercambio de iones a los mismos; al menos parte de la celulosa derivada se encuentra libre para adsorber macromoleculas cargadas; y los gránulos son luego tratados con un medio acuoso, a una temperatura elevada, cuando menos de 60 grados C, por un período de tiempo suficiente para causar un aumento de al menos un 30 por ciento en la capacidad de adsorción macromolecular del compuesto.
