Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a aditamento de niple mejorado capaz de incrustarse en el término de un artículo de manguera elastomérica, el cual consiste esencialmente de dos sudcomponentes, un niple y un reborde extremo de niple; caracterizado porque dicho niple está definido por un cilindro cuya pared está hecha de una rejilla de material que tiene una pluralidad de intersticios en el mismo, los intersticios siendo lo suficientemente grandes para permitir el flujo viscoelástico de un polímero elastomérico durante un proceso de curado, de manera que resulte substancialmente incrustado de forma firme el niple dentro de una masa cohesiva aglomerada de un polimero elastomérico curado; y dicho reborde extremo de niple siendo un anillo anular, montado circunferencialmente de manera fija sobre un extremo del niple de forma tal que el plano de dicho reborde está en una posición substancialmente perpendicular al eje del cilindro que refine al niple.
