Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un tanque para fundición continua de un acero de recorte libre comprende, en combinación, una zona de producción de acero derretido en la cual se añade un metal de bajo derretimiento de elemento de maquinabilidad, un medio de dispersión provisto en el camino del flujo desde dicha zona de producción de acero derretido hasta una salida de descarga para ducho acero derretido, para promover una dispersión uniforme del metal de bajo derretimiento, caracterizado por una presa provista carriente abajo del medio de dispersión, mientras que el metal de bajo derretimiento causado para asentarse por la presa es evitado de fluir hacia dicha salida de descarga; la zona de producción de acero derretido siendo definida por una primera compuerta provista corriente arriba del medio de dispersión, estando provisto dicho medio de deispersión corriente abajo de la primera compuerta y corriente arriba de una segunda compuerta provista corriente arriba de la presa; además está provista una porción cental convexa que se adelgaza en la dirección de corriente abajo, sobre la base de dicha zona de producción de acero derretido y una cubierta que rodea a una boquilla de un vaciado vertiendo dicho acero derretido hacia el tanque y teniendo dicha cubierta una longuitud tal que se sumerge en el acero derretido.
