Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para producir un material que contiene un antibiótico de polieter, caracterizado porque comprende: a) inocular un caldo de fermentación nutriente con un microorganismo productor de antibiótico de polieter; b) incubar un caldo de fermentación inoculado mientras se mantiene en el caldo como principal fuente de carbono un lípido asimilable en una cantidad suficiente para permitir el desarrollo de un microorganismo, para producir el antibiótico de polieter; c) fermentar el microorganismo en el caldo de modo que al finalizar la fermentación está presente un lípido fisiologicamente aceptable en el caldo algomerados discretos, separables, producidos mediante el método, caracterizado además porque comprenden antibiótico de polieter y gliceridos, en una relación en peso en los mismos de aproximadamente de 1:2 a 3:1.
