Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un metodo continuo para preparar halogenuros de alcansulfonilo de la fórmula RSO2Y, en donde Y es cloro o bromo, y ácidos alcansulfónicos de la fórmula RSO3H, en donde R es un grupo alquilo que tiene de 1 a 20 átomos de carbono, caracterizado porque comarpende la electrólisis en flujo continuo de un compuesto de azufre de la fórmula RSX, en donde X es hidrógeno o un radical de la fórmula SR', y en donde R y R' son grupos alquilo que tienen de 1 a 20 átomos de carbono, en un medio acuoso que contiene ácido halogenhídrico, para oxidar el compuesto de azufre, separar continuamente la mezcla de producto electrolizado de la zona de electrólisis, y recuperar el halogenuro de alcansulfonilo o el ácido alcansulfónico, de la mezcla de producto.
