Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a material aislante eléctrico, compacto para el revestimiento de una estructura aislante, que tiene a la vez una función mecánica y una función electrica, el cual contiene un primer elastómero del tipo EPDM, EPR respetivamente etileno-propileno-dieno-monómero y etileno-propileno-hule, copolímero de etileno, un poli-órgano-siloxano y un agente de co-reticulación, tal como un peróxido en una proporción comprendida entre 1 y 10 pcr, carcterizado porque contiene además una carga mineral a base de trihidrato de alúmina en una proporción comprendida entre 190 y 250 por ciento con respecto al hule y un monómero que contiene los grupos di o trialílicos en una porporcion comprendida entre 0.2 y 5 por ciento con respecto al hule y la proporción de poli-órgano-siloxano está comprendida entre 5 y 40 por ciento en peso del primer elastómero citado.
