Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para vulcanizar caucho, que comprende calentar una composición de caucho insaturada, vulcanizable con azufre, que contiene un agente de vulcanización de azufre y un acelerador/activador de vulcanización que tiene la siguiente fórmula estructural: en donde R es un radical seleccionado a partir del grupo que consiste en alquilo (1 - 20 átomos de carbono), cicloalquilo(5 - 20 átomos de carbono y aralquilo (7 - 20 átomos de carbono), el alquilo y cicloalquilo siendo opcionalmente substituídos en la posición 2 por un radical carboalcoxi.
