Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición baja en sal de sodio, adecuada como un producto de sal de mesa, caracterizada porque comprende: a) 30 a 90 partes de NaC1; b) 5 a70 partes de un agente de relleno no arenoso seleccionado de entre harina de trigo, arroz hinchado, trigo hinchado y maíz hinchado; y c) 0 a 40 partes de un aglutinante; en donde el agente de relleno está recubierto con el NaC1, ó el NaC1, el agente de relleno y el aglutinante están dispersos uniformemente en un gránulo; y en donde la composición tiene una densidad volumetrica menor de aproximadamente 0.6 g/cc.
