Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un metodo para deshidratar conjuntos de patrón de espuma revestidos de manera delgada con una suspensión de cerámica a base de agua, los conjuntos de patrón teniendo superficies internas escondidas, el metodo comprendiendo: a) someter el conjunto revestido a un flujo de aire convectivo, a una temperatura y tiempo sufientes para deshidratar cuando menos 80 por ciento del contenido vaporizable del revestimiento, a una temperatura inferior a aquella a la cual el substrato se afecta termicamente; y b) someter el conjunto revestido, parcialmente deshidratado a un nivel bajo de energía de microondas para eliminar substancialmente el resto del contenido vaporizable en el revestimiento, en una forma para evitar la falta de uniformidad en la tersura del revestimiento.
