Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una llanta neumática para vehículo que tiene una correa substancialmente inextensible entre la tira de banda de rodamiento y la carcasa radial y que tiene porciones ampliadas en forma de pestaña dispuestas a ambos lados de la tira de banda rodante, estando formadas dichas porciones ampliadas por un arreglo elevado y no entrando en contacto con la carretera, extendiéndose radialmente hacia dentro de las paredes laterales de la llanta desde dichas porciones ampliadas hasta los rebordes de correa, caracterizada por que los bordes de correa se extienden hasta la región de la porción ampliada y las superficies elevadas verticales de la porción ampliada sobresalen lateralmente en una distancia que corresponde a aproximadamente 25 a 40 por ciento de la distancia sobre la cual las paredes laterales abultadas de la llanta sobresalen en su punto más ancho más allá de la superficie elevada vertical, caracterizada por que una capa de hule de bajo amortiguamiento está dispuesta entre por lo menos dos capas de correa, correspondiendo el ancho de pared de dicha capa de hule a por lo menos aproximadamente el diámetro de los elementos de refuerzo de la correa, pero sin exceder de un grueso de pared de 5 mm; dicha capa de hule se extiende prácticamente hasta el plano a ambos lados de la llanta, siendo determinado dicho plano por la superficie elevada vertical, porciones de borde en forma de tira estando conectadas como una extensión de dicha capa de hule más suave en la región de los dos bordes de la correa, la mitad del ancho de dichas porciones de borde estando todavía dispuesto entre las capas de la correa y el medio ancho extendido sobresaliendo más allá dentro de la porción ampliada y mediante ello también sobresaliendo todavía lateralmente más allá de la superficie elevada substancialmente horizontal.
