Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo para cortar un núcleo de la pared lateral de un pozo de sondeo que consiste de: un alojamiento alargado capaz de bajarse hacia el pozo de sondeo, un medio para anclar el alojamiento en una posición deseada en el pozo de sondeo; una placa de guía montada fijamente dentro del alojamiento en una posición generalmente vertical, teniendo la placa de guía en la misma una ranura en forma de "J" con un pata alargada de la misma colocada en una posición generalmente horizontal, y una pata más corta que se extiende hacia arriba de la misma; un medio de perforación de núcleos; un primero y un segundo pasadores que se extienden desde cada uno de los dos lados opuestos del medio de perforación hacia la ranura en forma de "J" y se colocan en una línea paralela al eje del medio de perforación; y un medio impulsor para impulsar el primer pasador a lo largo de la ranura, mediante lo cual el medio de perforación será capaz de pivotearse desde una posición esencialmente vertical hasta una posición esencialmente horizontal.
