Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para producir acero de silicio orientado de grano de cubo en borde que tiene valores mejorados de pérdida de núcleo y permeabilidad magnética, el método comprende; elaborar una composición de fusión de acero al silicio, en por ciento en peso de aproximadamente a 2 a 4.5 de silicio, hasta 0.06 de carbono hasta 0.008 de nitrógeno, de 0.04 a 0.100 de manganeso de 0.016 a 0.035 de material seleccionado del grupo que consiste de azufre de material seleccionado del grupo que consiste del azufre y selenio, el resto de hierro e impurezas incidentales, producir 3 a 10 ppm de boro en una tira de acero de calibre final antes del recocido a textura final moldear la fusión a partir de una colada de la misma, laminar en caliente la puieza moldeada para formar banda laminada en caliente que tiene una relación de manganeso o azufre y/o selenio mayor hasta una tira de calibre intermedio de aproximadamente 0.457 a 0.660 mm mediante una reducción de cuando menos 60 por ciento somneter a recocido el calibre intermedio para efectuar la recristalización primaria, trabajar en frió el acero de calibre recocido intermedio hasta un calibre final de aproximadamente 0.114 a 0.305 mm mediante una reducción en frío de alrededor de 65 a 75 por ciento; somneter a recocido para efectuar la descarburización; aplicar a la tira de acero un revestimiento refractario, la tira de calibre final teniendo en la misma de 3 a 10 ppm de boro, y recocer a textura final el acero de calibre final durante un tiempo y temperatura para desarrollar recristalización secundaria con tamaños de grano de menos de 10 mm y una permea bilidad a 10 oersteds de 1850 o más.
