Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un miembro primario para un motor de inducción lineal que comprende un núcleo alargado, un devanado de motor teniendo una pluralidad de vueltas espaciadas en forma separada a lo largo del núcleo y extendiéndose transversalmente con respecto al mismo, cada vuelta teniendo un devanado de extremo que se proyecta a lados opuestos del núcleo y cada una incluyendo una porción de articulación para invertir la dirección del devanado, un par de conjuntos de cubierta lateral que se extienden a lo largo del núcleo en cualquiera de sus lados y abarcando el devanado de extremo y una pluralidad de ventiladores localizados en lados opuestos del núcleo y al exterior del mismo para dirigir aire a través de las cubiertas laterales y enfriar el devanado de extremo.
