Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un cilindro para intensificar una fuerza que se aplica a una herramienta para mover la herramienta dentro y fuera de acoplamiento con una pieza de trabajo, el aparato comprende: un cilindro maestro que tiene un primer colector, un segundo colector con medios para introducir fluido presionado al tercer colector y segundo colector, dichos medios comprenden al menos un orificio de pasaje complementario con una de al menos una abertura del segundo colector adyacente al primer colector y un tercer colector separado con relación al primero y segundo colectores, el primero, segundo y tercer colectores cada uno tiene por lo menos una abertura en el mismo, el primero, segundo y tercer colectores tienen axialmente alineados y en relación separada uno con respecto al otro; un medio para formar una primera cavidad entre el primero y segundo colectores; un medio para formar una segunda cavidad entre el segundo y tercer colectores; un pistón intensificador colocado en la primera cavidad; un pistón de depósito colocado en la segunda cavidad, el pistón de depósito define tercera y cuartas cámaras en la segunda cavidad, y el pistón de depósito tiene una perforación central en el mismo; un vástago intensificador acoplador acoplado con el pistón intensificador, el vástago intensificador pasa a través de por lo menos una abertura en el segundo colector en la perforación central del pistón de depósito; un cilindro de accionamiento colocado en relación separada con respecto al cilindro maestro; un medio para formar una tercera cavidad dentro del cilindro de accionamiento; un pistón colocado en la tercera cavidad del cilindro de accionamiento, el pistón define la quinta y sexta cámaras a cada lado del pistón; una cuarta cámara adyacente al pistón de depósito y la sexta cámara queda adyacente al pistón cada una de ellas conteniendo fluido hidráulico; un medio de pasaje para colocar la cuarta y sexta cámaras en comunicación de fluido una con la otra, el medio de pasaje tiene un extremo en yuxtaposición con respecto al cilindro maestro y un extremo opuesto fijado al cilindro de accionamiento; un vástago de pistón fijado al pistón, el vástago de pistón tiene un extremo libre colocado en voladizo desde el cilindro; un medio para introducir fluido presionizado a la tercera cámara adyacente al pistón de depósito para ocacionar que el pistón de depósito fuerce el fluido hidráulico desde la cuarta cámara del pistón de depósito hacia la sexta cámara del cilindro de accionamiento que queda adyacente al pistón de manera tal que el pistón y el vástago del pistón fijado avanza a un primer régimen predeterminado hacia la pieza de trabajo; a coupler intensifier rod coupled with the intensifier piston, the intensifier rod passes through at least one opening in the second manifold in the central bore of the reservoir piston; a drive cylinder placed in separate relationship from the master cylinder; means for forming a third cavity within the drive cylinder; a piston placed in the third cavity of the drive cylinder, the piston defines the fifth and sixth chambers on each side of the piston; a fourth chamber adjacent to the reservoir piston and the sixth chamber is adjacent to the piston each containing hydraulic fluid; a passage means for placing the fourth and sixth chambers in fluid communication with each other, the passage means has one end juxtaposed with respect to the master cylinder and an opposite end attached to the drive cylinder; a piston rod attached to the piston, the piston rod has a free end cantilevered from the cylinder; means for introducing pressurized fluid into the third chamber adjacent to the reservoir piston to cause the reservoir piston to force hydraulic fluid from the fourth chamber of the reservoir piston into the sixth chamber of the drive cylinder which is adjacent to the piston in such a manner that the piston and the fixed piston rod advance at a predetermined first rate towards the workpiece; and a means for introducing a pneumatic means pressurized into the first chamber adjacent the intensifier piston to cause the intensifier piston to move and further to move the coupled intensifier rod into at least one opening of the third manifold to act on the hydraulic fluid. it is stepped up for insertion into the sixth chamber of the drive cylinder to cause the piston rod attached to the piston to advance at a second predetermined rate toward the workpiece.
