Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a sistema de freno de motor para todo tipo de motores diesel y gasolina, caracterizado porque consiste de una solera de control dispuesta en la parte superior del tren de balancines descansando sobre los soportes de los balancines y una válvula de desalojo instalada en el múltiple de admisión del motor que permanece cerrada hasta en tanto no se aplicado el sistema de freno, y que es abierta al aplicarse el freno del motor por un dispositivo de accionamiento de válvula; un segundo dispositivo de accionamiento desplaza longitudinalmente la solera de control al aplicarse el freno, desacoplando los balancines de escape de la varilla levantadora de válvulas, impidiendo así que las válvulas de escape se abran, manteniendo atrapados los gases en los cilindros oponiendo resistencia al movimiento ascendente de los pistones en su carrera de escape, ésto fuerza a los gases a salir en el momento de apertura de las válvulas de admisión en la carrera de admisión hacia la válvula de salida al ambiente.
