Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para mejorar la selectividad de hidrogenación de enlaces dobles en la estructura de un polímero que contiene enlaces dobles en su estructura e insaturación de vinilo, el procedimiento comprendiendo poner en contacto el polímero que contiene enlaces dobles en su estructura e insaturación vinílica con hidrógeno en presencia de un polímero que contiene grupos pendientes que tienen la fórmula estructural: -Rh(PO3)2X, en donde 0 representa un grupo fenilo; en donde X representa un átomo de halógeno, en donde el procedimiento se lleva a cabo a una presión dentro de la escala de 1.0 X 10 a la 5 Pascales a aproximadamente 7.0 X 10 a la 6 Pascales; y en donde el procedimiento se lleva a cabo a una temperatura que está dentro de la escala de aproximadamente 20 grados C a aproximadamente 200 grados C.
