La presente invención se refiere a un terpolímero que tiene la fórmula: en donde x es de 40 a 98 por ciento molar y es de 1 a 50 por ciento molar, z es de 1 a 50 por ciento molar, en donde y es z son menores de 60 por ciento molar y M se selecciona del grupo que consiste de aminas y un catión metálico que se selecciona del grupo que consiste de plomo, hierro, aluminio, grupos IA, IIA, IB y IIB de la tabla periódica de elementos.
